  Is it unacceptable to stand up for Jehovah's Witnesses on a site called Jehovah's-Witness.net?

  i fail to see why people such as alice in wonderland, bane and others, are regularly singled out as tolls.

  demands are repeatedly made that they are shunned and thrown off the forum; while people like perry, who rant on with pages of controversial drivel, are considered acceptable?.

  i personaly don't view any of them as trolls, just people who feel a need to stand up for what they believe.

  I personaly don't view any of them as Trolls, just people who feel a need to stand up for what they believe. They come here to thrash out the finer points of their conviction against barrage of ridicule, abuse and criticism.

  Messageboards are the modern-day equivelent of elementarty school recess. There's no intellegent discussion. It'll never change your mind. You'll never change mine.

  I thought the idea of this site was to debate different mindsets?

  Sorry, but no. Defend a JW belief here, you'll be immediately shout down. Most people on this board do not want a discussion. They want a reason to vent. And you are the target

  i don't care for all the blood in tarantino movies but he is, without a doubt, a genius.. .

  Did James Cameron Rip Off Poul Anderson's Novella?

  i picked up a $2 book of 1950's short stories.

  was reading one by poul anderson written in 1957 called "call me joe" and realised i was reading the script for avatar!.

  i googled and see that many think cameron has ripped off this short story for his film.

  Well, if that's true, it's a good thing.

  That's why I hope the WTBTS tightens it's grip. I hope disfellowshippings increase. If people can't or won't leave of their own accord, I hope they get booted out.

  Personally, I don't understand the appeal of trying to provoke this Bane character. What good does it do? Do people get some kind of pleasure from it?

  Really, it reminds me of the weak kid in the schoolyard at recess.

  Gather around, push him down, watch him try to defend himself. He's a weakling. Watch him struggle. Humiliate him
